Mr. James Earl Wade, Sr., 60 of Star City passed away. He was born April 9, 1962, to the late Freddie Stocker and Jimmy Lee Wade in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
James was favorably known to many of his family and friends as "Snap".

He graduated from Grady High School in 1981.He was united in holy matrimony to Pamela Wade in 1984. From this union two children were born: James Wade, Jr. and Ravene Wade.

James began working at an early age. He loved hunting and fishing...that's what he lived for! He worked at KisWire for 23 years until he retired in 2018.

He is preceded in death by his parents—Freddie Stocker and Jimmie Lee Wade; and his grandmother—Lee Anna Stocker.

James leaves five children—James (Shalonda) Wade, Jr., Tavarus Jackson (LaTonya), Ravene Wade, Abrena Wade and Demetrius Wade; his siblings—Travis (Bobbie) Broadnax, Laura Mays, and Ernest Anderson. He also leaves four grandchildren—A'niya Wade,Ka'miya Allen, Ma'riyah Allen and Malaysia Wade.

Memorial Services will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at New Community Church with Apostle Patrick Lockett officiating. Interment will be at a later date.

Public Visitation will be Friday, June 10, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Paradise Funeral Home.
