KNOXVILLE - Janice C. Little, 74, of Lady Lake, Fla., formerly of Knoxville, Ill., died at 5:05 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, 2005, at her home.

She was born Aug. 10, 1931, in Sullivan, Ind., the daughter of Harold C. and Joyce L. Sherwood Liston. She married Joseph H. "Joe" Little on April 6, 1952.

She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Jane (Tim) Attaway of Oblong, Ill., Ann (David) Hulsizer of Galesburg, Ill., and Sue (Ryan) Shultz of Otley, Iowa.; two brothers, John (Carol) Liston of Gilson, Ill., and Tom (Joan) Liston of Sun City, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Dan Attaway of Effingham, Ill., John (Jane) Attaway of Highland, Ill., Katie Hulsizer of Champaign, Ill., and Matt Hulsizer of Galesburg, Ill.; three great-grandchildren, Cale Attaway of Altona, Ill., Logan and Anthony Attaway of Highland, Ill.; aunt, uncles, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four infant children.

She was a homemaker and owned and operated several businesses in Knoxville, including The Lady Bug Shop, The Peddlers Three and The Flower Basquet.

She was a member of the Fairway Christian Church-The Villages and attended the Presbyterian and Methodist churches in Knoxville.

She was a member of PEO Chapter AM-Knoxville, PEO Chapter IF-The Villages, Fl., and Bell Chords-in The Villages. She served as city clerk of Knoxville for several years. She loved to china paint.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, 2005, at Knoxville Cemetery, Knoxville, Ill. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Chapel Galesburg. Memorials may be made to the Hospice Foundation of Lake & Sumter Inc. 12300 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL. 32778-9972.
