Anita was a strong willed woman who was not afraid of hard work. During the final years of her life, she was cared for by her niece Nell Elizabeth (Liz) Osteen. Although these years were extremely challenging due to Anita's illness, Liz and her family made great sacrifices so that she could keep the promise she made to her mother, Anita's sister, Connie Green.
Anita is survived by her two daughters, Shawna Oxford Glazener and Athena Harden, Sister: Sheila Odham and Aunt: Laura Crenshaw, as well as her niece, Nell Elizabeth (Liz) Osteen. No services will be held.
