Mr. Paul Wallace, 79, passed from this life on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Diversicare of Brookhaven. He was born on July 20,1942 in Jayess, MS, to Emery Wallace and Delitha Thames Wallace.

Mr. Paul was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed going to auctions. He always cherished time spent with family. If you were missing him, just wait until supper time, and he would show up. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Jonita Freeman Wallace; four brothers, L.C. Wallace, Joe Wallace, Mack Wallace, and Ralph Ward; and one niece, Stephanie Tullos Baucum.

Survivors are one brother, Marlin Wallace; two sisters, Yvonne Tullos and Barbara Cooper, a special friend, Marilyn Welch O'Gwynn; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Jason Tullos, Matt Wallace, Craig Wallace, Daryl Harness, Arvin Givens, and Colton Welch.

Honorary pallbearers are John Tullos, Marlin Wallace, Lane Tullos, and Chris Wallace.

A vistiation will be held at Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit Saturday, June 11, beginning at 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue Sunday June 12, beginning at 1:00 PM until time of service at 2:00 PM. A graveside service will immediately follow at Roberts Cemetery in Topeka. Bro. Scott Johnson and Will Dunaway will officiate with Sharkey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
