Regina A. "Reggie" Smith, 64, of Marietta, died at home on Tuesday, surrounded by her friends and family. Reggie was a graduate of St. Lucy's Academy and St. Joseph's School of Nursing. She had retired from the West Genesee School District as a school nurse. Mrs. Smith had formerly worked at St. Joseph's Hospital, the Poison Control Center and Camillus Pediatric Associates. She was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church. She was predeceased by her brother, Leonard, and parents, Leonard and Tillie Stack [original name: Steckiewicz]. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, James L.; sons, Robert L. (Karen) of Russell Springs, KY, James T. (Maureen) of Syracuse and Michael P. (Ginny) of Syracuse; a daughter, Kristen E. (Rick) Reagan of Marcellus; seven grandchildren; and many beloved friends. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 19, at 10 a.m. in St. Francis Xavier Church in Marcellus. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James Street. Contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY or Francis House.
