Willie Brown III ~~~ Passed on May 31, 2022. A native of Sanford, Florida, who spent his adult life in Roxbury, Massachusetts. His life's work was to ensure the liberation of all people and especially the elimination of roadblocks that hinder the achievement of Black people.
He leaves to celebrate his life, his wife of 52 years Verdaya Mitchell-Brown; his son of New York; two daughters and a son-in-law of Roxbury; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his sister of Sanford, FL and a brother, wife; nieces, nephew, his God sister, and a host of cousins, aunts and uncles, and friends.
Celebration of Life Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 11 AM at Roxbury Community College, Media Arts Center, at the corner of Columbus Ave., and Malcolm X Boulevard. Visiting with the family at 10 AM. Burial Mount Hope Cemetery. Arrangements Davis Funeral Home of BOSTON.
