Born in Scranton, son of the late Raymond Sr. and Julia Huda Berry, he was a graduate of Dunmore High School, a U.S. Navy veteran, and was a member of St. Peter's Cathedral in Scranton where he also served as usher. He was an avid pool player and belonged to the Scranton, Mid Valley, and Endless Mountain Pool Leagues.
Surviving are his siblings, Joan Kutchmanich and husband Nicholas, Jessup; Marion Carroll and husband Joseph, Exeter; Michael Berry and wife Mary Ellen, Wyoming, PA; Anne Trivellin, Dunmore; and John Berry and wife Theresa, Dunmore; niece Christine, and nephews Joseph, Johnny, and R.J.; great-nephews Alex, Joey, and Charlie; and his two cats.
He was also preceded in death by his longtime companion, Nancy.
