After retirement Gerry enjoyed viewing classic cars, watching westerns, and being with family and friends.
Gerry is survived by his mother Sadie of the home, brother Steve (Judy) of Harrisonville, MO, sister Debra Carson (Danny) of Keytesville, and brother Mark (Laura) of Harrisonville, MO. Also his aunt Nellie Davis, , nephews Brandon Brown, Kyle Brown, Eric Brown and Nicholas (Ashley) Brown, along with 13 great nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his father Jim Brown, paternal grandparents Gerald Deloyd and Eva Brown, maternal grandparents Irvy and Edna Hawkins, uncle and aunt Orville and Frances Miller, uncle Billy Hawkins, uncle I.F. Hawkins and aunt Jean Leedom.
Graveside services will be Thursday, May 26, 2022, at 1 pm at the Bethany Cemetery, north of Keytesville. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 4 to 7 pm at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury, MO. Memorials are suggested to the Bethany Cemetery.
