Linda Louise Clanton, age 61 of Altoona passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at St. Vincent's Hospital.
Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2022 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Highpoint Cemetery. Rev. Dave Collins and Rev. David Collins will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Thomas Young, Wesley Coody, Jacob Coody, Riley Coody, JP Rodriguez and Alex Evans. Dustin Smalley will serve as honorary pallbearer.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2 before the service.
She is survived by her husband; Larry Clanton of Altoona, son; Rodney Clanton of Altoona, daughter; Teresa (John) Coody of Southside, grandchildren; Katelyn (JP) Rodriguez, Wesley (Leah) Coody, Jacob (Claudia) Coody, Riley (Kendra) Coody, great-grandchildren; Tripp, Isaiah, Bodhi and Addi, father; Frank (Jan) Johnston, sisters; Wanda (John) Culver, Vicky (David) Collins ad Frankie (Billy) Calhoun and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother; Pearlie May Holliday, step-father; Tommy Holliday, brothers; Glen and Michael Johnston all of Albertville.
