Edwin "Ed" Hawkins, 87, of Waukon, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2008, at his home following a brief illness. Services: 1 p.m. Monday at Schutte Funeral Home, Postville, by Pastor Larry Olson. Visitation: from 10 a.m. to time of service Monday at the funeral home. Burial: Postville Cemetery.
Survivors include three children, Sheryl Ann Hawkins of Texas City, Texas, Charles (Roxanne) Hawkins and Karen (William) Little, both of Waukon; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Bob Hawkins of Cedar Rapids; and four sisters, Genevive Inger and Eunice (John) Kolowinsky, all of Cedar Rapids, Ruthie Inger of Robbins and Madonna Langhorst of Eden Prairie, Minn.
