Mrs. Linda M. Fowler, of Trumann, departed this life on Sunday, December 27, 2020, at the Flo \u0026 Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR, at the age of 73.

She was born October 24, 1947 in Payneway, the daughter of William T. Weaver and Mayrine Simpson Weaver. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, Robert Coin.
Linda married Jimmy Fowler on November 1, 1963 and they enjoyed 57 wonderful years together. Linda dedicated her life to following Jesus, loving and caring for her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her church family. In her "spare" time she enjoyed making floral arrangements and cakes for special occasions and often as gifts to friends and family just because she loved them. Linda was a faithful member of Providence Baptist Church. She was highly involved in the Woman's Missionary Union (WMU) over the years, served as Social Director, a Sunday School teacher along with her intense involvement with Vacation Bible Schools. She is known and will always be remembered as one of the most selfless and caring persons you'll ever meet.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Fowler of the home, one son, Jim Fowler (Erin) of Southaven, MS, two daughters, Dawnette Schmidt (Jim) of Savage, MN and Barbara Fowler of Ardmore, OK; one brother, William "Buddy/Bubba" Weaver of Poplar Bluff, MO, one sister, Joyce Barnes of Merigold, MS; 11 grandchildren, Timothy Chandler, Danielle Mourer, Joshua Schmidt, Rachelle Schmidt, Davis Schmidt, Zachery Fowler, Parker Fowler, Nikki Addison, Sarah Masters, Rachel Masters and Emma Fowler, six Great Grandchildren, Brooklyn, Garrett, Bentley, Alice, Corrin and Sahara, and four Grand Furbabies, Bart, Precious, Si and Smokey

Celebration of Life services are set for 12:30 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2021, at the Providence Baptist Church in Trumann with Rev. Bobby Brooks officiating.

Private interment (family only) will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg.

Friends may visit just prior to services, 12:00-12:30 p.m., at the church.

Services will be streamed live on the Providence Baptist Church Facebook page.

Pallbearers will be Larry Fowler, Ronnie Fowler, Keith Kendall, Carl Pruitt, Brannon Treece, M.D., and Scott Whitaker. Honorary pallbearers are Nikki Addison, Tim Chandler, Parker Fowler, Zachery Fowler, Tony Ragsdale and Jim Schmidt.

Face masks (over nose and mouth) and social distancing CDC guidelines will be strictly followed at the church.
