Gayle Elaine Anderson Ross, age 87, longtime resident of Lenexa and recently of Woodbury, MN, died December 29 at her home in Minnesota. She was a woman of deep faith, parishioner at Knox Presbyterian Church and longtime Bible Study member keen on sharing her faith. A passionate gardener known for her overflowing flower beds; great music fan (and dancer in college); and a traveler who leaves many friends in Japan and created wonderful memories in Sweden, her ancestral home. She died peacefully in the presence of family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Donald Ross; survived by daughter Lisa Ross of Minneapolis; son Christopher Ross of St. Paul; William Ross of Myoko, Japan; granddaughters Hannah, Emily and Sena.
No immediate service is planned, but a memorial service will be held in May in Kansas (memorial information at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, willwerscheid.com).
