Harlingen - Jose Guadalupe Sanchez, 72, entered into eternal rest, June 6, 2022, at his home in Harlingen, Tx surrounded by his loved ones. Jose was born in Los Colorados, De Abajo, Nuevo Leon and raised in Harlingen, Tx. Jose established his business in 1979 as Sanchez Home Builders. He is preceded in death by his father, Guadalupe Sanchez, his mother, Maria Sanchez, and two brothers, Juan Sanchez and Rusbelt Sanchez. Jose is survived by his wife of 52 years, Teresa Sanchez, sisters Orelia Ramirez and Tina Friesenhahn, brother Roberto Sanchez, daughters Joanna Gonzalez (Ben), Monica Benavidez (Eduardo), Susie Cabrera (Eli), Samantha Bailey (Michael), grandchildren Logan Gonzalez, Landen Gonzalez, and Sophia Benavidez, and great grandchild Avery Gonzalez. Jose was an amazing son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, father in law, and friend. He will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral service will begin Thursday, June 9, 2022 departing Rudy Garza Funeral Home in Harlingen at 1:30 PM for a Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of Peace Catholic Church at 2:00 PM with burial to follow at Ashland Memorial Park.
