Mike worked at the Marietta Cookie Factory and the last 18 years he worked at WinStar as a Security Supervisor. He was a dedicated and hardworking man. Mike always had a smile on face and was larger than life. He was a very ornery man and loved to tell stories, most of them you weren't sure the legitimacy of. There was certainly not a dull moment when Mike was around. He enjoyed his farm life with his dogs and donkeys, fishing, and spending time with all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mike was loved by many and will be missed.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Charles Manning; grandson, Kaysen Gage; stepdaughter, Amanda Jefferson; and brothers, Wayne and Phillip Manning.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Nery Manning of the home; son, Michael Jay Manning and wife Samantha of Marietta; mother, Annie Manning of Thackerville, OK; mother of his son, Tanya Willis of Leon, OK; bonus children, David Loma, Kim Fexico, and Vanessa Jefferson all of Ardmore, OK; brothers, Kevin Manning of Gainesville, TX, Mark Manning of Thackerville, and Andy Manning of Riverside, CA; sister, Rose Westra of Thackerville; grandchildren, Jordyn, Jacee, Bailey, Dakota, Ashlyn, Rayah, Haley, Autumn, Mayra, Juan and Benito; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Zion Cemetery in Thackerville under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Marietta. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
