After graduating from Girard College, Harry served honorably in the United States Army Medic Corps during World War II. He had been employed in the printing business and for over thirty years, owned HL Miller and Sons Printing, in Malvern.
Harry served for over twenty years as Roadmaster for West Pikeland Township. He was an avid baseball fan, loved the Phillies and was active in his sons' little leagues and youth sports. He enjoyed getting away with his wife Meta, with whom he shared more than 50 years of marriage, every weekend to spend time at their home in Avalon, New Jersey.
Harry is survived by his sons: Glenn R. Miller, husband of Patricia, of Douglassville, Brian K. Miller, husband of Michele A. Zinner, of West Chester, Dean J. Miller, husband of Cheryl, of Chester Springs and Eric F. Miller, husband of Victoria; of Phoenixville; and grandchildren: Tasha Miller, Sam Miller, Nick Miller, Jordan Miller and Tyler Miller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Joseph F. Miller.
Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
