He was born December 16, 1943, in Dover, Delaware, to the late Paul W. Ennis and Ella Mae Farrow.
Mr. Ennis was an active member of the Cheswold United Methodist Church. He worked for many years doing wholesale for many popular companies, such as Murray Cookies and Little Debbie Snacks. He loved spending his time outside, gardening. He was an avid western fan and loved to travel and visit new places.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved dog, Lucky.
Mr. Ennis is survived by his loving companion of 52 years, Bessie Eglit; a few cousins; and his beloved dog, Emmie Sue.
Services will be held 1:00pm, Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, at the downtown location, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, Delaware. Friends may visit one hour prior. Internment will be held at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna, Delaware.
