Mayer of Carrollton; his grandchildren, Chrissy Rice (Andrew), Ryan Mayer (Jessica) and Sarah Buckley (Richard); his great grandchildren, Tyler Rice, Alorah Mayer, Ryan Mayer Jr., Lucas Buckley, Robert J. Mayer IV (Joey Madden) and Teagan Buckley; and his sisters, Patricia Reams and Sondra Gearhart.

Roseville - Robert J. Mayer Sr, 88, of Roseville, passed away peacefully Monday August 9, 2021 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House with his loving wife by his side.
He was born on April 5, 1933 in Three Rivers, Michigan to the late Joseph Francis and Lula Becker Mayer.
Bob was an inventor for Bendex, the owner of 2M Corporation and was a former employee of Essex Wire. He was a hardworking, loving husband and father.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Frances Adams Mayer; sons, Robert J. (Donna) Mayer Jr of Roseville, Mark A. Mayer of Alabama; daughter, Judy I. Mayer of Carrollton, Oh; grandchildren, Chrissy (Andrew) Rice, Ryan (Jessica) Mayer, Sarah (Richard) Buckley; great grandchildren, Tyler Rice, Alorah Mayer, Ryan Mayer Jr, Lucas Buckley, Robert J. Mayer IV (Joey Madden), Teagan Buckley; sisters, Patricia Reams and Sondra Gearhart.
