Phillips, Sister Laura-Was born April 1, 1888, departed this life June 4, 1956. Age 68 years, 2 months, 3 days.

She was married to Iowa Phillips February 12, 1905, and to this union were born 2 sons, A. V. Phillips of Oneida, Route 1, and L. C. Phillips of Helenwood, Tenn.; 2 daughters, Mrs.
Talt King of Helenwood, Tenn., Route, and Mrs. Ezra Sexton, Oneida, Tenn.

She leaves a number of grandchildren and great grand children, 2 brothers, Ezekiel Strunk and Shelby Strunk; 3 sisters, Mrs. Columbus Jeffers, Huntsville, Mrs. Osa Chambers, Huntsville and Mrs. Josie Phillips, Oneida,
and a host of friends to mourn her decease.

She was a member of the Paint Rock Baptist Church in which she came at an early date, and lived a devoted Christian life until Jesus called her home to live in the paradise of God.
We feel our loss is her eternal gain, as the blessed Lord has spoken; he that believeth on me, though he be dead, yet shall live again.
