Karen M. Waite, 60, passed away at her daughter's residence on Sunday, May 29th, 2022.
She was born on November 7th, 1961 to Eugene and Rita (nee: Wojnarowicz) Strasser.
She was united in marriage to M. Gene Waite on May 7th, 1988.
Karen was a devoted mother to her children and a doting grandma to her grandson, Owen. She loved to garden and put together recipe books for whoever would take them. Even during illness, she maintained her characteristic sense of humor and worried more about those she loved than herself.
She is loved and will be forever missed by her two children, Kalen (Alyssa) and Kelsey (Jacob Rangel) Waite, her beloved grandson Owen, as well as other relatives and friends, including her friend Lisa who always made sure to find her wherever she was.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Rita Strasser and her husband, Gene Waite.
To honor Karen's wishes, a graveside service will be held at Graceland Cemetery in Racine on Thursday, June 9th, 2022 at 11 A.M. for friends and family to celebrate her life.
A special thank you is extended to those who helped care for Karen during her illness and in the final moments of her life.
