AGE 90 YEARS
Robert Leonard Irons of Norwood, passed away on June 5, 2022. Beloved husband of 58 years to Janet Frances (Marcin) Irons. Devoted father of four sons and their wives. Brother of one sister of W. Roxbury and the late Francis Irons. Cherished grandfather of nine grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Robert was a 30 year employee for the Town of Dedham School Dept., retiring as Principle of the Oakdale School. He was a faithful Boston Latin graduate and a diehard Boston College and Red Sox Fan. Robert was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran and served his country honorably defending Texas.
Arrangements: Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, Norwood.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022, 2pm at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, MA.
