Born July 8, 1976, in Salem, Ohio, she was the daughter of William H. Richards and Glenda Tyson.
She was employed with various restaurants, most recently at Starwood Rib and Steakhouse, as a server. Amy was a free spirit who loved life. She enjoyed nature, mushroom hunting, and was an advocate for political matters.
In addition to her father, she is survived by four sons, Vajae' Tyrell Richards of Florida, Andre L. Hall, II, Lavantae D. Richards and Lashaun M. Asbury, all of New Castle; one brother, Charles A. Richards of New Castle; one sister, Tracy Lynn Cuffia of New Castle; two grandsons, Zayden and Andre; lifelong friend Laura Green; and numerous friends and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her mother and one brother, William Richards, II.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 24, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.
A Memorial Service will immediately follow the visitation Tuesday at 7:00 with Pastor Alonzo Waters of Victory Christian Center officiating.
