Jeannie was born on October 7, 1947, to Virginia Carol and George Carol, Sr., who both preceded her in death.
On October 10, 1970, Jeannie married the love of her life, Merle "Mac" Campbell, who survives. Together they shared fifty-one years of marriage, a fact both were so proud to tell others.
Jeannie was an active member of the Woodland Avenue United Methodist Church, where she served on various committees, sang in a performance group and gave generously of all she had. Most important to her was the "Bazaar for all Season," which Jeannie started over twenty-five years ago and continued to lead until last year. Jeannie also worked tirelessly for the church's food pantry.
Jeannie provided daycare for over one hundred children in the area over a period of twenty years. Many of the children have kept in touch with her through the years and still send her cards.
Jeannie loved spending time with her family most of all. She also loved to cook, craft and garden.
Jeannie is survived by her husband, two daughters, Barbara Schall and husband Steven and LeAnn Whitfield and husband Corey. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Milea Reynolds and husband Adam, Emily Thompson and husband Eli, Brady Schall, Ala Ingros and husband Eric; Copeland Whitfield and Graci Whitfield; and three great grandchildren, Calla, Lana and Judah Reynolds.
Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Punxsutawney.
