Michael E. Taylor, age 75, of Anderson, SC, husband to Ann F. Taylor, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022, at his home.
Born January 18, 1947, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Mayfield Taylor and Sue Alexander Cleveland.
He worked as a Route Salesman for Golden Flake Snack Foods. He enjoyed going camping and was an avid Clemson fan. He attended Andersonville Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Chris Taylor (Apple) of Westminster, SC, Michael Taylor of Anderson, SC, Gerald McCurry (Missy) of Anderson, SC, Jeffrey McCurry of Antreville, SC, and Eric McCurry of Johnstown, PA; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughters, Lori Brock and Angie Taylor; and step-father, D.P. Cleveland.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Travis Bryan officiating.
The family will be at the home, 2410 Cross St., Anderson, SC 29625.
Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made in his name to Andersonville Baptist Church, 6902 Dobbins Bridge Rd., Anderson, SC, 29626.
