Dianna S. Simon, 76, of Belvidere, passed away April 11, 2021 surrounded by her family.

he was born on April 1, 1945 in Platteville, Wisconsin to Elmer and Anna (Holtz) Schult.

Dianna was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Belvidere and was a Deacon for almost three years. She enjoyed traveling with her two daughters and granddaughter, as well as traveling to all her granddaughters dance competitions to support her. She also enjoyed bike rides, long walks and spending time with her family and friends. Dianna was an advocate for Pink Heals and fought her own battle with cancer for 6.5 years. She was a true warrior who was determined to continue to fight.

Survivors include her daughters, Tabitha Simon and Lori (Dave Syverson) Perkins; granddaughter, Alexis Perkins; siblings, Ronnie (Sherry) Schult, Barb (Danny) Thorne, Leonard (Cecilia) Schult, Sherry (Don) Krantz, Jim (Cherie Bartelt) Schult, Alan (Melody) Schult, Larry (Wanda) Schult, Linda (Mel) Vanover, Kathy Schult, Glen (Lisa) Schult and Keith (Teresa) Schult; numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents; nephews, Bret and Connor Schult and niece, Kourtney Krantz.

Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 2021 in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, IL 61111 with Pastor Bob Kopp officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorial contributions can be made to Pink Heals.
