Update 7/2022...Email from Find A Grave member, who relates that Susan Malone Nicholson burial location is in Hot Water Cemetery, Soddy Tennessee, although a memorial not located. In addition, she relates that Susan isn't on the cemetery listing. Susan Malone Nicholson death certificate confirms this information is accurate.

The posted obituary and death certificate revealed valuable information. Those postings appreciated. Her memorial bio... Daughter of Alex F and Susan Nicholson. They have lead to more connections with Malone family.

NOTE: When Granny Walker Cemetery searched for daughter of Susan Malone, Janey/Jennie Crow, as noted in death certificate the following discovered:

°°° However birth and death dates don't match.

Research reveals that the cemetery burial list notes information was taken from stone? The memorial dates do match dates on list.

But a photo of stone not on memorial.

In addition, Jennie Crowe is mentioned in the obituary of Catherine Nicholson Hixon, which is posted on her memorial...linked to Susan Malone Nicholson memorial...# 240355238.

This is a mystery. The manager of memorial will be contacted so record can be provided and to explain situation. Maybe some light will be shed on this mystery. Until a response is received, an edit won't be sent. Hopefully the manager can help unravel situation. And daughter of Susan Malone Nicholson, Jennie van be linked with her mother and our Malone Families.

Prior to this time, the husband of Susan Malone Nicholson was unknown. The death certificate and bio of Catherine Nicholson Hixson revealed her father was Alex F Nicholson, born Tennessee.

Find a Grave links note that Catherine Nicholson Hixson was the second wife of Carl P. Hixon married 1921. His first wife was Elizabeth Walls 1886-1920.

The obituary notes survivors of Catherine Nicholson Hixson ... husband Carl P. Hixon, two step-sons, one step-daughter and one aunt....Mrs. Thomas McAllister (misspelled). Also noted, the obituary doesn't note persons that preceded her death. It appears Catherine may not have had natural born children.
