FORMER PENDLETON RESIDENT DIES
Andrew J. Turner, age 83, formerly of Pendleton, died at noon Saturday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. E. A. Fitch, at Cleveland, Ohio. The body arrived at Anderson Sunday afternoon and was removed to Pendleton by Davis and Sloane. Later the body was removed to Anderson to the home of a sister. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Davis and Sloane funeral home, conducted by Rev. W. R. Cady. Interment was held in Grovelawn cemetery. Mr. Turner is survived by the daughter, Mrs. Fitch and two sons, Roy Turner, of Anderson, and Verle Turner. Mrs. Fitch was visiting at the home of Mrs. Ward McCarty on Madison Avenue when she received word of her father's death.
