Services for Mr. A. Z. Jackson, age 93, of West Monroe, LA will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 13, 2003 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home - West Monroe with Rev. Clyde Sanchez officiating. Interment will be in Twin City Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Mr. Jackson died Saturday, May 10, 2003 at his residence.
Mr. Jackson was retired from Riverwood International after 46 years of service. He was an active member of New Chapel Hill Baptist Church until his health failed him.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred Jackson.
Survivors include two sons: Arlen Jackson and wife Waleah of Dell City, OK, Don Murphrey and wife Kay of West Monroe; daughter: Sally North and husband Ed of Humboldt, TN; four grandchildren: John Clark Murphrey, Christie Reid, Julia Reeves and Johnathan North; two great grandchildren: Ryan Murphrey and Noah Reid; sister: Frankie D. Adams; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ben Avery, Irvin Sills, Johnathan North, Johnny Jackson, Charles Haynes and Sam Nolan.
Visitation will be 5:00 until 8:00 Monday at the funeral home.
