Hattie Jane Roberts, 87, died Thursday, June 2, 2022 in Big Spring.
Visitation will be 9 AM until 9 PM with family receiving friends from 5:30 PM until 7 PM at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 11 AM Friday at Fairview Cemetery in Bronte, Texas.
Hattie was born on June 29, 1934 in Robert Lee, TX to Virginia and Douglas Snead.
She moved to Coahoma in 1967 and returned back in Coahoma in 1971.
She married Norman Roberts on November 17, 1956 in Lea County, NM and was a member of First United Methodist in Coahoma.
Hattie worked for Coahoma I.S.D for 27 years.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was a devoted sports fan, especially for the Coahoma Bulldogs.
Hattie is survived by her husband: Norman Roberts; daughter: Sheri Whiten (Danny Dishman); son: Gary Roberts (Kim); daughter-in-law: Shanna Roberts; grandchildren: Stephen, Lance, Kali, & Corey; great grandchildren: Tres, Justin, Payton, Andrew, Laney, Lane, Hayden, Boone, Huxton, & Terryn Jo; and great great grandchildren: Judge & McKinsley.
In addition to her parents, Hattie was preceded in death by her son: Terry Roberts.
