LEAVITTSBURG — George "Sonny" William Wilson Jr., 85, died Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Washington Square Healthcare.
He was born Nov. 21, 1936, in Cumberland, Md., the son of George William Wilson Sr. and Rose Mae Abe Wilson.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and was employed for 35 years at Thermatex Corporation in Newton Falls.
Survivors include his brother, Clifford Wilson of Warren.
George was preceded in death by his wife, Sonjie M. Grant Wilson, and four brothers.
There will be no services.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Cumberland, Md.
Arrangements were handled by Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
