Mary Elee Lopez was granted her angel wings on May 31, 2022. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Mary had touched in many ways throughout her remarkable, memorable life. Her kindness was contagious and the memory of her will live forever. She was a gem.

Mary loved the Lord and from childhood, she was well-grounded in her Catholic faith. Her purpose to serve the Lord was fulfilled in her kindness and generosity toward everyone she knew. She made others feel special and treated her friends as gems. Mary was an inspiration to others as she gave willingly of her advice, compassion, and endless encouragement.

Mary gave us all such hope and courage as she reminded us of the preciousness of life. She was noted for her fierce determination and strong will.

Mary enjoyed the movies and one year, she was thrilled to attend the annual Academy Awards Ceremony. She loved music and her favorite was Johnny Mathis. She enjoyed playing the piano, traveling, reading, and lifting weights. Mary's greatest joy was walking the Spyglass Hills in Whittier. Mary is noted for her elegance and grace. She could easily socialize in any setting with a wide variety of people, making new friends along the way.

Mary spent years working at Dodger Stadium where she LOVED her co-workers and her loyal amigas. Armida, Yolanda, Millie and Lorna; friends for life. May we be blessed to have Mary in our hearts.

Mary has a true servant's heart and she always put others ahead of her needs. Mary was preceded in death by her son Mark.
