HEATHER RYAN
Heather Marie Ryan was born October 7, 1971 to Danny Marvin Ryan and June Ferguson Ryan Crow at Mercy Hospital in Vicksburg, MS. As a family they moved to several different cities, her favorite was always Houston, TX. When it came time for college, Heather received her Bachelors in Fine Arts from Delta State University, and from there she went on to Millsap's College and got a Masters in International Business.

After college, Heather found time for travel, one of her favorite things to do. Over the years she lived in London England, California, Texas, and Mississippi. During her professional career she taught art through several different organizations and also spent nearly 20 years working for and consulting with Boys and Girls Clubs all across the State of Mississippi. She loved to be creative and was an accomplished artist, graphic designer, and exceptional cook. Scuba diving with sharks was one of her most favorite things to do, and she was a film and music enthusiast. She loved to play her guitar with the music ensemble at Parkview. She said she couldn't read music, but she gave it her best effort. The most important thing to Heather was her family. Her two siblings were quite younger, and she loved being able to spoil them and teach them all about Jaws and Jimmy Buffet when they were growing up. The last few years she passed those things on to her niece and was looking forward to also teaching her nephew.

Heather passed from this earth on Friday, May 6, 2022. She was proceeded in death by Charles and Ouida Ryan, Preston and Sula Kate Ferguson, and her father Danny Ryan. She is survived by her mother and step-father, June and Johnny Crow of Yazoo City, MS; her sister, Sarah Ryan of Yazoo City, MS; and her brother, Josh Ryan (Michala) of Hopkinsville, KY; her step-brother, Johnny Crow JR. (Leann) of Vaughan, MS; her step-sisters, Mandy Cummings (Matthew) of Chattanooga, TN, Mollie Alford (Jesse) Madison, MS, and Katie Crow of Madison, MS. Heather is also survived by eight nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will have private graveside service to celebrate her life at the Mount Olivet Cemetery in Mechanicsburg, MS. The family has entrusted Stricklin King Funeral Home with the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in her name to: The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Delta where she worked passionately for many years or to Parkview Church of God Music Ministry where she was a member.
