Anna Eva Williams, 83, of 120 Southwood Drive, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022.

Memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, June 1st at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Gore officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home following the service.

Anna, born July 26, 1938 in New York, was the daughter of the late Raymond VanBlarcom and Edith Shuart. She retired from Waste Industries and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband John Ruben Williams, Sr.; son John Ruben Williams, Jr.; daughter Peggy W. Goforth; grandson Stephen Borkowski; brothers, Everett Van Blarcom and Raymond Van Blarcom; and sister, Marion Pitt.

Survivors include; daughters, Shirley Burkeen (Dennis Burkeen) of KY and Mary Stroup (David) of TN; grandchildren, Laura Mathis (Anthony), of NC, Jennifer Williams (Kenneth) of NC, Michael Borkowski, Christian Williams, Sara Goforth, Heather Williams and Zach Goforth; step-grandson, Cory Burkeen; and great grandchildren, Aiden McElveen, Savanna Mathis, Sydney Mathis, Makayla Borkowski, Gunner Burkeen, Brison Burkeen and Teagan Burkeen.

The family would like to thank the staff at Mary Gran Nursing Center and Liberty Home Care and Hospice for the care given to Mrs. Anna during her illness.
