Anna Spendlove Wilcox passed away January 10, 2008, at home. She was born February 5, 1923, in Virgin, Utah, to Charles and Sarah Hardy Spendlove.

She married S. Lee Wilcox, August 22, 1941, in Virgin, Utah. They were sealed in the St. George temple April 8, 1943.
Anna lived her entire life in Virgin. She was happiest at home surrounded by her family and friends. She always had an extra place at her dinner table, and no one went away hungry. She loved a beautiful rose garden and well-kept vegetable garden. She served in many church callings including 18 years as a Young Women president. She loved her family, a good prank, a good joke, and babies.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Lee Wilcox; children, Dennis and Aldean Wilcox, Gary and Mona Wilcox, Shirlene and Darwin Hall, and Chris and Sonya Wilcox; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her four brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 14, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at the Virgin LDS Chapel in Virgin, UT. Interment will take place in the Pioneer Memorial Cemetery, Virgin, UT.
