Edith G. Walsh, 78, of Halifax, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2019 at West Shore Pinnacle Health Hospital.
She was born on March 18, 1941 in Duncannon to the late Frederick and Helen (Wolf) Fry.
Edith was a member of Armstrong Valley Bible Baptist Church, Halifax. She enjoyed knitting, doing puzzles, was a voracious reader and loved to play Farmville.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Lester A. Walsh, 3 sisters Alice Myers, Joann Kirk and Mildred Beatty.
Surviving are her daughter Mariann L. Stiely and her husband Steven of Duncannon, 2 sons Robert L. Walsh and his wife Jessie of New Bloomfield, Joseph M. Walsh and his wife Valerie of Lykens, 2 sisters Carriebella Auker of Liverpool, Rose Fetterhoff of Duncannon, 2 brothers Elwood Frye of Duncannon, Charles Frye of Lincoln, NE, 2 grandchildren Kara Stiely-Matter and her husband Jacob and Caleb Walsh.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 7, 2019 in Armstrong Valley Bible Baptist Church, 2041 Armstrong Valley Road, Halifax, PA 17032.
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday in the church.
