Theora Faye "Ivie" East of Springfield passed away May 18, 2022, she was 92. Ivie was born September 28, 1929, in Osborne, Kansas to McClancy J. and Elsie Hazel Rogers Ivie.
She married Donald L. East in Portland on Oct. 12, 1946. The couple moved to Eugene in 1967.
Ivie was the co-owner/operator of Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour and worked for many years doing demos at Costco. In her spare time Ivie enjoyed sewing and altering clothing, knitting, and doing just about any craft she could.
She is survived by her two daughters; Donna (Mike) Gustafson of Eugene and Terri (Lonnie) Heisler of Springfield; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded by her husband Donald and daughter Kathy Farr.
Inurnment will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland on June 17, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. Services are in care of Major Family Funeral Home in Springfield.∼~~~Major Family Funeral Home
