Henry was born in Lexington on May 6, 1938, a son of the late William John Henry and Myrtle Pearl Shields Cook. Henry proudly served in the U. S. Army and retired from Traditional Bank. He is survived by: nephews and nieces, T.L. Wilson and his wife Peggy, Ruth Webster, Alyce and Mike Casey, Bill and his wife Ruth; and several great-nieces and nephews.
