Janice Lorraine Brewer was born in Hobart Oklahoma on July 15, 1938, To Alice (Ellis) and Alfred Roy Moore. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

Janice grew up on her family farm south of Lone Wolf Oklahoma and graduated from Lone Wolf High School in 1956.

She married William Elvin Putman in May 1956 and into this marriage was born William Douglas in 1958.

On April 4, 1963, Janice married James Franklin Brewer, and on December 22, 1965, Kerry Dean Brewer was added to this family.

In August of 1995, Janice married Guy Bright until his diagnosis and eventual death from cancer 9 months after the wedding.

Janice was a faithful and dedicated employee to Western Electric beginning in Oct. 30, 1960, until her retirement in 1984. She initially worked in "Wiring and Soldering" on the assembly line, but later was invited to work in the corporate office.

Following this retirement, she dedicated herself to her great hobby of crafts, leading to a very good response to Craft shows and eventually opening a business known as "Ruffles and Roses" in April of 1980 until 1995.  With changing life and family dynamics, Janice closed her shop and was hired in the first group of new employees working in the Reservations/Ticketing Center for Southwest Airlines from June 3, 1995 until June of 2008. Janice loved the atmosphere of working in the Southwest Airlines Call Center, she enjoyed the other employees as well as the customers and their adventures, needs, and purposes for their travels. She enjoyed the opportunities of helping people with their travel plans, but she also found great interest in assisting those who were making travel arrangements due to difficulty in their life. Throughout the remainder of her life, Janice was very appreciative of the opportunity to work for Southwest Airlines.

Following her time with Southwest Airlines, Janice enjoyed travel and friendships.
