Dale A. Bartelds, age 77, of Jenison, was called home to the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. He was born on January 25, 1945, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Dale married the love of his life, Cynthia J. Dingman on November 18, 1966. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Dale went on to work for Steelcase for over 30 years as a Tool and Die Maker and later as a Die Sensor Specialist. He later returned to work and worked for Grand Rapids Spring and Stamping (Gill Industries) before finally retiring at the age of 73. Dale enjoyed camping, traveling, backpacking, and was an avid coin collector. For many years he coached baseball for Covenant Christian High School and thoroughly enjoyed his time there. He was a dedicated, loving, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Byron Center Protestant Reformed Church, 1945 84th St. SW, Byron Center, with Prof. Russell Dykstra officiating. The burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery.
