Mr. Evans was a graduate of Muncie Southside High School Class of 1964. Paul and Wife Amber where school sweethearts meeting in Middle school at the age of 13 years and dating all through High School. Paul married the love of his Life Amber on Nov. 6, 1965, and they had a story book love for 57 years.
He was so very proud of his Children and their Spouses and Grandchildren. For the great people they had become and the life they have carved for themselves. Paul was known to brag on his family occasionally.
Paul worked at Delco Battery and retired after 35 years of service. Paul was a Master Mason of Whitney Masonic Lodge #229 F&AM for 52 years and was a 32nd Degree Mason since 1969. Paul was also a Member of the Murpal Shrine Club which he really enjoyed doing after his retirement. Paul was a very caring soul. Working with the Shriners Hospital, boys home helping with transportation and field trips.
Mr. Evans was always willing to help someone out if they needed a helping hand especially if you were willing to help yourself.
Paul loved to hunt and fish, and any kind of outdoor sport especially with family and friends. Paul loved passing the outdoor traditions on to his children and grandchildren.
Paul as a father, was like no other. He took time and supported his children in whatever sport or idea they had in life. He was always there when you wanted advice or just someone to talk with without judgement, but you always got his opinion rather you wanted it or not! He was a straight shooter!
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Daniel Kauffman officiating. Burial will follow at Tomlinson Cemetery. Military honors will be rendered by the U.S. Army.
