She was a teacher, a 2000 graduate of Trumann High School, and loved sports, taking pictures and shopping.
She holds the scoring record for girls basketball at Trumann High School, was triple-crowned her senior year and was a member of Martin Chapel Assembly of God in London, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Kenneth Simmons and Paul Gairhan.
She is survived by her daughter, Reice Doke of Jonesboro; parents, Jerry and Beverly Simmons Ferguson of London; grandmothers, Elaine Simmons of Trumann and Joyce Gairhan of Nashville, Tenn.; one brother, Jeremy (Sarah) Ferguson and a niece, Kendyll Ferguson of Trumann.
A celebration of life service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Friendship Assembly of God, 1771 Arkansas 163, in Jonesboro with the Rev. Jerry Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at Friendship Assembly of God.
Pallbearers will be Wayne King, Rian King, Revis Kemper, Kevin Simmons, Logan Despain and Shannon Walker.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathan Skaggs and Chad Bishop.
In compliance with COVID-19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering is optional.
