Mrs. Smith was born on April 29, 1948, in Upson County, to the late Cecil Gregg and the late Nettie Trice Echols. She worked for Criterion Technologies and was a member of Sylvia Hills Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Richard Gregg.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Winston Smith of Thomaston, daughter, Christi Legg of Mableton, son, Gregg (Holly) Smith of The Rock, brother, Mike (Linda) Gregg of Williamson, sisters, Cecile Smith of Thomaston, Carol Williams of Thomaston, sister-in-law, Cindy Gregg, grandchildren, Madison Smith, Luke Legg, Rachel Legg, A.J. Legg, and Adam Legg.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 9, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
