Barbara Ann Moore Clark, 80, of Bedford, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 30, 2022.
She graduated from Andrew Lewis High School in 1960 and was a long-time employee of Stritesky's Flower Shop.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Bessie Moore; brother, Charlie Moore; and brother-in-law, Ed Stritesky, husband of Jean Stritesky.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Larry Rae Clark; her children, Cindy Clark and Kathy Markham; grandson, Cody Markham (Rebekah); great-granddaughter, Sierra Markham; siblings, Jean Stritesky, Robert Moore (Carolyn), Mike Moore (Lucretia), and Susie Strong; and many nieces and nephews.
The family wished to thank the staff at Friendship South Rehab and Good Samaritan Hospice for their care and compassion.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Oakey's Vinton Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at the funeral home.
