Kevin was born on February 8, 1952 to Frank and Lucina Mann in Alliance, Ne. After graduating from Blair High-school in 1970, he went on to join the Army, serving from 1970 to 1972.

After the Army, he spent his time in different career areas, and making adventures for himself and his friends. Following those years, he would meet and marry his first and second wife, resulting in two biological children (Jeremy and Belinda) and four stepchildren (Nick, Liz, Heather, Tracy) whom he never treated as anything but his own.

After many jobs, a lot of which consisted of driving all over the states, Kevin spent his time being with friends, traveling, and making memories with both his grandkids in Nebraska, as well as his grandkids in Hawaii.
