Edward Lewis "Eddie" Swann Jr.
Tuesday, May 18th, 1937 – Sunday, May 15th, 2022
Edward Lewis Swann Jr. (Eddie) was born May 18, 1937 and passed on Saturday, May 15, 2022, just shy of his 85th birthday.
Eddie was one of 19 children (yes, I said 19) born to Edward and Rita Wilhemina Swann. Eddie is a Navy Veteran of 10 years and retired from over 25 yrs. of service as an Aircraft Inspector with NAS NADEP.
Eddie was a dedicated father, grandfather, brother and friend, who loved spending time with all. He was the type of person that never met a stranger. He was quick witted and was loved by everyone that came in contact with him. Eddie also loved going to AMVETS. Sometimes his car would get drunk and wouldn't make it home. Eddies other past time was seeing a familiar face while driving by and giving you his special wave. You always knew you were number one.
Eddie is survived by seven sisters, Theta Mae, Genevieve, Rita Elizabeth, Carol Ann, Margaret Irene, Delores Vivian and Bernadette Ruth; two brothers, John Joseph and Richard Vernon; five children, David Lewis (Carol), Wanda (dec.), Terry Denise (Allen), Randall Edward, Wendel Keith and Chuck (Toni), and Henrietta Moye. Eddie is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
