Irma Jean Ummerteskee was born August 28, 1951, and passed from this life on May 28, 2022, at the age of 70 years 9 months and 0 days. She was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma the daughter of William Ummerteskee and Willie Mae (Kingfisher) Thirsty.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Willie Mae Thirsty and William Ummerteskee, sisters; Sharon Thirsty, Phyllis Whitten and Deloris Woods.

She is survived by one son; Chad McCarter of Tahlequah, OK; Two daughters; Latricia R. Factor and Jessinna M. Factor of Okmulgee, OK. Sister; Wilma Fixin of Tahlequah, OK; brother; Adam Thirsty Jr. and wife Emma of Stilwell, OK, Sister; Carolyn Thirsty of Stilwell, OK. Five grand-daughters; Danielle LaSarge, Alyna LaSarge, Ajena Marks-Hicks, Cheyenne Factor, Niyah Factor. Three grandsons; twins Richard and Reuben LaSarge, Matthias Factor. Three great grand-daughters; Marayah Factor Satoe. Alaia Green, Lilo LaSarge. One great grandson; Klaus LaSarge. She is also survived by one uncle; D.J. McCarter, one Aunt; Lillie Perry and several nieces and nephews.

Due to health reasons, Irma spent the last 8 years at Grace Living Center now known as Sequoyah Pointe. She enjoyed playing bingo and each time you would stop by to visit she was always trying to give you her prizes she had won. She loved the special church services that were held by different church ministries. She enjoyed word search puzzles, but the greatest joy of all was when she would walk the halls and see the face of a loved one that has come by to visit, she loved when someone took her to the store to get candy, bubblegum, and pop. She loved to tell people that she owned the Oklahoma City fair grounds, where she had worked before. Irma was a member of Elm Tree Baptist Church. She will be missed by everyone she leaves behind.
