Fannie Rhea Galyon Shubert age 86 of Lenoir City passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Fannie Rhea was a member of The Grove in Kingston. She was a loving Christian wife, mother and memaw. Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Benny Shubert; grandson, Lucas Brooks; parents, John and Arlie McNabb Galyon, and brother, Roy Lee Galyon. Survived by her children and spouses: Sally and Byron Proaps, Cindy and Eddy Brooks, Mike and Sandy Shubert, Mark and Lori Shubert all of Lenoir City; grandchildren: Phillip and Mandy Martin, Benjamin and Heather Brooks, Joshua and Christy Martin, Josh and Stephanie Proaps, Mandy and Damon Parks, Michael and April Shubert, Austin and Kayla Shubert, Marcy and Cody Hutton, Lexee and Devvin Howard, Gracie and Corey Allen, Addie and Mark Harrison, and Kelsey Shubert; 24 great grandchildren; sisters, Jackie Sharp (Benny), Joanne Dukes and Johnnie Campbell; sister-in-law, Judy Howell (Wayne) along with several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Dr. Dick DeMerchant officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10:30 Friday morning and proceed to Lakeview Cemetery for graveside services at 11 a.m.. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. A Celebration of her life will be held at The Grove in Kingston at a date to be determined. Memorial contributions may be made to East Tennessee Children's Hospital or The Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
