Stacy L. Beck, 59, of Duncannon, passed away unexpectedly on Monday April 27, 2020 at her home.

Born May 19, 1960, in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of Lucille (Keller) Donbach, of Harrisburg, and the late Richard Donbach, Jr.

Stacy was a 1978 graduate of Central Dauphin East High School. On March 4, 1989, she was united in marriage with William D. Beck.

Stacy worked as a Secretary for many years. She was initially employed by the Money Store and later at the Disabled American Veterans offices in Harrisburg and Camp Hill. Her natural desire to help people ultimately led her to become a Caregiver – in both private homes as well as the Kinkora Pythian Home. Stacy was a member of the Duncannon American Legion Post #340 and V.F.W. Post #255. An avid pool player, she enjoyed nights out playing and socializing. Stacy also found quiet contentment in nurturing her flower gardens at home. While family was always important to her, as the years passed, Stacy found her greatest fulfillment in nurturing and caring for her grandchildren – they became the focus of her life.

In addition to her husband, William, and mother, Lucille, she is survived by a son, Alex C. (Kalene) Hoffman and their children, Isabella, Lia, Braden and Molly; and daughter, Ashley D. Bryson, and her children, Skylar, Austin and Maddie. Stacy is also survived by her sisters, Julie (Michael) Pozoic and Danielle (William) Smedley; a brother, Richard (Jody) Donbach III; step daughter, Mandy Beck; and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with the current limitations on public gatherings and to assure proper social distancing, the family will greet relatives and friends informally on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., at the Ronald C.L. Smith Funeral Home, 325 N. High Street, Duncannon. Please keep your own and others health and safety in mind by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 3001 Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
