Those who remain to cherish his memory include his son, Bentley McCoy; brothers: Caleb McCoy (wife, Sarah), and Rocky McCoy; grandparents: Larry & Karen Brewer, and Annabell McCoy; nephew, Cade McCoy; aunts and uncles: Mark & Nedra Harrington, Rick & Regina McCoy, James & Melissa Daniels, Michelle Higginbotham, Sherry Brewer, Dustin & Andrea Brewer, and Kim Conway. Corey is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Corey was preceded in death by his grandmother, Loretta Brewer; grandfather, Dale McCoy; and great uncle, Roger Brewer.
Corey was very proud of his country and patriotism was a big part of his life. He proudly served in the United States Army, being deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan. He loved his family very much and loved being a father to Bentley. One of the things he enjoyed most in life was riding his motorcycle.
A Visitation for Corey will be Friday, June 3, 2022, from 11 am to 1 pm at DeClue Funeral Home, 301 E High St, Potosi, MO 63664.
A Funeral Service will immediately follow the visitation at 1 pm, officiated by Pastor Josh Kennon. Interment will be held at Adams Cemetery in Frankclay, Missouri. Full Military Honors will be presented by the United States Army, VFW Post 6996, and the Patriot Guard Riders.
