"Raymond Kennedy, age 67, passed away peacefully in his home in Newark, Delaware, on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. Born in Pennsylvania on August 7, 1954, he was the loving son of the late Hugh and Helen Kennedy. He spent much of his career in the real estate industry in such roles as leasing manager, selling agent, and also as an executive for Berman Building Contractors based in Valley Forge, PA. Ray was predeceased by the love of his life and wife of nearly thirty years, Lynda Roebuck Kennedy.

Ray will be fondly remembered by his friends, family, and in the various church and theater communities that he's touched. He was gifted with his hands as both a piano player and as a knitter, which brought him great joy. Left to honor Raymond and remember his love are his three children: David, partnered with Wendi Hurda, of Bethlehem, PA and their shared children Parker, Shea, and Ian; Meredith, married to John Candeloro, of Hockessin, DE and their sons Stefano and Gabriel; and Jonathan, married to Rina, of Exton, PA, and their daughters Nadia and Lena.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 21stbeginning with visitation at 11 am to be followed by a service at noon at Charles P. Arcaro Funeral Home (2309 Lancaster Avenue, Wilmington, DE 19805)."
