Dennis John Murphy (BPD Retired) Of Sarasota, Florida and Boston, passed away in the comfort of his family on May 25, 2022. He was the son of the late Michael and Mary Murphy. Cherished husband of Barbara O'Toole. Loving father of five children and proud grandfather of six grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Ellen Curley.
He proudly served in the USMC from 1955 to 1959 and the Boston Police Department from 1966 to 2003 attaining the rank of Sergeant.
